First let's talk about where I am with Project fall, the sequel to Incarnate's Rise.

It's... Going.

Honestly I'm struggling a little,okay a lot with getting going andstaying focused. I spent a goodpart of the later half of Octoberoutlining thinking it would help -which it did. I know the story Iwant to tell and where I want it toend. Honestly, it's the DOING IT.I've had many days where I look atthe page and go "The hell am Idoing?"

Then I promptly turn and doanything else.

No Cutting Room Floor, butmaybe... a recommendation?

Since I'm struggling with writing, and when I started looking for a 'Cutting Room Floor with No Context' segment for this article I wasn't happy with my choices...

I figured, maybe instead of this being all negative I'll recommend something I fell into three months late. Another honesty moment from ya girl - when this came out I brushed it off... Many of my friends were obsessed but I've never been the biggest anime person or k-pop person so I automatically assumed this wasn't going to be my thing. IWAS WRONG. It started with the songs, Free, Idol, and This is What it Sounds Like are songs that made me think about my book series for many reasons.

Free: 100% a book 5 song for reasons

Idol: This song SCREAMS Verrek and Christopher's influence!

This is What it Sounds like: Well it's going to be what I listen to non-stop as The main trilogy comes to and end. Again, REASONS.

I found the songs first (Thanks Tiktok) with Baldurs Gate 3 and Dragon Age visuals in the background... Then I listened to the songs, then I went to watch the movie. Holy hell again, I was wrong. It's just a generally good movie with a great vibe that sometimes even outside of the fiction we need to hear sometimes... I know I did.

This shit put me on a mental health reflection spiral, for better or for worse.

One thing that won't change, not that anything is changing... 'Cept for the context to of this months letter. Just, here's more of my girl because I am still a cat mom and she is still pretty!

Sometimes you just need cat cuddles, which she provides while also being a camera ham... 😻
